This week I have been mostly spending my time producing wedding invitations for the upcoming nuptials of a friend of mine. The theme is peach and mint. The invites consist of paper inserts on a tinteretto gesso paper, which have a lovely hammered effect and gives a luxurious and tactile finish, which were printed at printed.com. The outside envelopes are papercut roses on mint green card, which are folded around the inserts and finished off with a tied peach ribbon bow. I'm really pleased with the result, but more importantly so is the bride to be. I personally like invitations to be kept as a momento by guests, and I hope they like opening them.
